Visualize My Birth® Wellness Support Specialist

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

We prepare women physically and educationally for birth, but how intentionally are we preparing the brain and nervous system for the experience itself?

Imagine being the practitioner who doesn’t just know what to say during birth, but understands what this mother has rehearsed for months and knows how to help her return to it without pulling her out of her physiology.

Imagine supporting a woman throughout pregnancy with a deeper understanding of the physical, nutritional, emotional, and physiological foundations that can shape her experience.

Imagine walking beside her through birth understanding not only birth physiology, but her Birth Vision™, her Voice Rehearsal™, her Anchor Statements™, her Reset Breath™, and the language and practices she has spent months making familiar.

And imagine continuing to support her into postpartum, breastfeeding, newborn care, recovery, and the enormous transition that follows birth - with a more complete understanding of the entire season she is moving through.

Be Part of a New Standard in Birth Preparation

Visualize My Birth® was created to change the way women prepare for birth - and that change cannot stop with mothers.

The professionals walking beside them need to understand this approach, too.

This professional program goes beyond learning the Visualize My Birth Method alone.

You will build your understanding of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum support, while learning the VMB approach to intentional mind + body preparation through repetition, familiarity, nervous system support, and Guided Mental Rehearsal.

Through real-world case studies and professional application, you’ll learn how to take what you are learning beyond theory and understand how it may look when supporting different women, different circumstances, different decisions, and different birth experiences.

You are not being trained to replace a mother’s medical provider or practice outside your professional scope.

You are learning how to become a more informed, prepared, and intentional member of her support team.

And when a mother has practiced the Visualize My Birth Method, you will understand the language she is using, what she has rehearsed, and how to help her return to her own preparation rather than introducing something entirely new in the moment.

We are building a new standard of birth preparation. One that recognizes that preparing for birth means more than understanding what the body will do. It means intentionally preparing the mind and nervous system for the experience through repetition, familiarity, and Guided Mental Rehearsal.

The Visualize My Birth Certificate Program is an invitation to be among the professionals who understand the whole journey, from pregnancy preparation to the birth space and into postpartum, and know how to support the VMB mother within it.

Not simply another course to complete.

A method to understand.
A framework to apply.
Case studies to bring the education into real-world support.
A shared language to bring into your care.
And an opportunity to be part of what comes next in birth preparation.

FAQ

I’m planning a home birth, hospital birth, or birth center birth. Is Visualize My Birth® for me?

YES. Visualize My Birth isn’t about where you give birth - it’s about how you prepare to meet your birth.

Whether you’re planning to birth at home, in a hospital, or at a birth center, VMB helps you practice coming home to your body in any setting. You’ll mentally rehearse how you want to breathe, move, respond, surrender, advocate for yourself, and return to what you’ve practiced, even when birth unfolds differently than expected.

The environment may change. The people around you may change. Your birth may take unexpected turns. Your practiced tools come with you.

Can Visualize My Birth predict or guarantee my birth outcome?

No, no method can guarantee exactly how, when, or where your baby will be born. Birth has variables we cannot control.

But that doesn’t mean we underestimate the power of the subconscious mind.

Mental rehearsal has long been used by athletes and performers to intentionally practice an experience before it happens - creating familiarity with movements, responses, sensations, and the way they want to perform when the real moment arrives.

And many women find that pieces of their birth unfold remarkably similarly to what they rehearsed.

VMB brings intentional mental rehearsal into birth preparation. You practice your breath, movement, Birth Rhythm, Reset Breath, Anchor Statements, environment, responses, and the experience you envision—while also rehearsing how you want to meet intensity, decisions, or a change in plans.

We can’t promise an outcome. But we absolutely recognize the power of intentionally showing your mind and body where you want to go before your birthing time begins.

What’s the difference between the three Visualize My Birth programs?

Visualize My Birth®
This is the birth-preparation method itself. You’ll learn the VMB tools and practice Guided Mental Rehearsal, create your Birth Vision and Vision Script, develop your Anchor Statements, record your Voice Rehearsal, and learn how to use your Reset Breath, Anchor Moment, and Birth Rhythm.

Visualize My Birth Complete
This is the complete education experience for moms who want more than the VMB birth-preparation method. It combines Visualize My Birth with deeper education and support throughout pregnancy, natural birth preparation, and postpartum.

Visualize My Birth Certificate
This is our professional program for doulas, midwives, nurses, birth educators, therapists, wellness practitioners, and other professionals supporting women throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum - as well as moms who want the deepest possible understanding of their own pregnancy and birth.

It combines the complete Visualize My Birth method with comprehensive pregnancy, birth, and postpartum education, deeper application, and case studies—giving you an entirely new level of understanding of the pregnancy and birth journey.

I’m a provider. Can I use Visualize My Birth with my clients?

Yes - with an important distinction.

The Visualize My Birth Certificate is designed for professionals who want to understand the method and confidently support clients who are using it.

As a VMB professional, you can reinforce the tools, help a mother return to what she has practiced, and incorporate VMB-supportive language into your care.

The VMB method itself remains inside Visualize My Birth - providers do not independently reteach or reproduce the proprietary method. Your clients access VMB directly, and you become the professional who knows how to support what they’ve practiced.

I'm planning a C-section. Is Visualize My Birth for me?

YES. Mental rehearsal isn’t only about preparing for vaginal birth - it’s about preparing your mind and body for your birth experience.

With a planned C-section, you can mentally rehearse the moments surrounding your birth: arriving, breathing and staying connected to your body, meeting your baby, navigating the operating-room environment, and using your practiced VMB tools throughout the experience.

However your baby enters the world, you can prepare intentionally for how you want to meet that moment.

What if an emergency happens or my birth plan changes?

This is exactly why we practice. Visualize My Birth isn’t about rehearsing one “perfect” birth or controlling how your birth unfolds.

Mental rehearsal helps you prepare for change, too - practicing how you want to breathe, respond, communicate, make decisions, and come home to your body when the unexpected happens.

The plan may change. Your preparation still comes with you.
